Volunteers Honored at Annual Recognition Event

The Silver Beaver Award, the highest council award for volunteers, was given to seven individuals from the GGAC for their significant impact on Scouting above unit-level service.

Other volunteer awards from the Scouting program, including Sea Scouting and Venturing, were also presented. We recognized those who initiated new units, ensured Scouts with special needs could fully participate, and the recipients of the NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Awards.

Spring has sprung! This is the season where our districts acknowledge the District Award of Merit recipients and those who have made a difference in their units and the Scouting program.

These recognitions are crucial in appreciating our volunteers’ work. In the GGAC, we’re lucky to have a dedicated team of volunteers, who contribute at all levels to the Scouting program. Some impacts are visible, others are behind the scenes, but all are vital for our success.

We cannot thank our volunteers enough for your efforts. GGAC is thriving because of you!
