How will a Scout contact a potential Merit Badge Councilor? Is this different under shelter in place rules?

Using Scoutbook a Unit Leader, typically the Scoutmaster, can choose a qualified Merit Badge Counselor (MBC) from the SFBAC list and “connect” them to a Scout. At that point, the MBC will receive an email of this connection. The MBC needs to login to Scoutbook and accept the connection. At that point, the Scout and MBC may begin working together remotely.
