Please share any ideas you have on how to safely host a Court of Honor while still under COVID-19 restrictions?
Our Troop has done Board of Reviews using Zoom meetings. Each of the 3 committee member call in, the Scoutmaster calls in and introduces that Scout and then the Scout calls. So far it was worked acceptable. He had somebody that could NOT wait due to timing of their 18th Birthday and needing to have the minimum 6 months as a Life scout. The advancement has then been entered into Scoutbook. As committee chair and with other BOR members approval I sign the Advancement report for all 3 members of the BOR.
Sorry — I read the question wrong — I thought it said Board of Review – Not Court of Honor…
My Troops were able to do one successfully(if much quicker than normal) by creating a slideshow to show for the awards and events of the recent time period.
It allowed the Zoom meeting to work well.

For Troop125, we did a drive through COH. The adult leaders were standing under the flag post. Scouts and families drove by and pick up their awards. We also separated scouts into a number of groups so each time there is only one group in the valet lane waiting in their cars. We put a white board display the current group number so people waiting in the parking lot can see. It was successful overall.
