Spring Camporee Leaders' Guide and Registration Link are now available on this page!
We are so excited to have your scouts going us for this year's Spring Camporee!

Attached for your information and distribution to your adult and youth leaders is the 2024 Spring Camporee Guide for March 15-17 at Rancho Los Mochos.  It is full of useful information about arriving, paperwork to bring for registration, SPL meeting on Friday night, description of the events lasting all day, fun events after 3:30, and checkout procedure on Sunday.   Please review the Leaders' Guide carefully found at this link - 2024 Spring Camporee leaders guide

Priority registration for Mission Peak scouts ends Friday night.   We will open the camporee to other districts if there is insufficient attendance.   We know some units are waiting to get their final scout count, but there is only today and tomorrow for priority registration. After that, it will be on a first come first serve basis. DO NOT DELAY.  Registration will close not later than one week prior to camporee so we can make final arrangements. To officially register, click on https://scoutingevent.com/023-80757

Please join Slack and utilize the 2024-Spring-Camporee Channel.  You can post questions or comments there about the camporee.   You can also communicate with the adult leaders on Slack and your SPL can communicate with our Camporee Youth Leaders on Discord.   There are instructions on how to join both in the Camporee Guide.

Looking forward to seeing you at Camporee!

It's that time of year again when we reach out to our scouting families to ask for their support in keeping scouting adventurous and accessible for yet another year! As we all know, the fees we collect are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to covering all the cool stuff we do in Scouting.

So, here’s where you come in: Could you help us pick a date for us to visit and talk to your unit’s families about supporting Friends of Scouting? If it’s slipped your mind (we know, life gets crazy!), please take a moment to fill out this super quick form:

Mission Peak Prayer Hike was a great success!

Mission Peak Prayer Hike was a great success!
The Prayer Hike allowed us to explore the many genres of religions in Fremont. We visited 6 houses of worship and gained a greater knowledge of other religions and what makes each one unique in our community. Five different districts registered for the MP Prayer Hike.

A total of 224 Cubs, Scouts, parents, and Scout leaders as well as staff members from the houses of worship participated in the event.  At each house, a faith leader discussed their religious traditions basic beliefs, and practices. At the Sikh Temple, a traditional meal was served to everyone. This is a great opportunity to complement your unit's commitment to "To serve God" & "Duty to God".  Each youth received this pocket patch.

This video below will give you a feeling for each of the Houses of Worship. Please join us for the Prayer Hike next year.
