Subject: May status report for AB506 Mandated Reporter Training
|
We have the May version of the Mandated Reporter Training report. The report was run on May 4th. It still only includes the status of taking the online training class. No information is available yet on who has completed Live Scan. We are told the Live Scan information should be available in June.

In order for each of you to recharter in your various district positions, you will be expected to complete this Mandated Reporter training and successfully upload your certificate.

The report is full of errors. If you have someone who has a valid training certificate but shows up as not having taken the training; the most common reasons we don't show them in the report are:

- They submitted their report to the "Golden Empire Council"
- They submitted the report under a different name than the one they registered with BSA, for example, Steve vs. Stephen
- They did not include their correct BSA ID # that is registered with GGAC
The best remedy for someone who has taken the training but is missing from the status report is to resubmit the form but be sure to get all of the above correct.

This month I was not able to invest the several hours needed to send each Unit a custom report. Instead, you all are getting the data for the entire district. So, please be respectful of the data for the other units. In other words, only look at the data for your unit.
