In March we will have two exciting speakers:

- The NYLT Staff will explain why every senior Scouts BSA member should attend this challenging week of training on how to become a good leader.
- Come hear all the exciting camping opportunities GGAC provides for our Cubs and Scouts BSA this summer! Melissa Yarns, the GGAC Camping & Program Executive, will be our guest speaker and happy to answer questions concerning the exciting experience we have for our scouts.

3/19 Outdoor Rally @ Irvington Park

Irvington Park, 41825 Blacow Rd, Fremont, CA 94538 (Across from Irvington High School)

Open to all Scouts BSA Troops and Venture Crews in Mission Peak District. The Indoor Rally is a historic, original fun team-building event, designed for the off-season. This year will be a MODIFIED Outdoor Event: the OUTDOOR version. Skills include first aid, knot-tying, compass, and more. Families, parents, friends, Scouting Alumni, and especially Webelos and Cub Scouts are all invited to attend. There will be a special event just for Webelos and Cub Scouts – an excellent opportunity for Webelos Scouts to see Troops in action!

- 2:30 pm - Check-in and registration
- 3:00 pm - Grand Entry of troops
- 4:30 pm - Awards
- Fees: FREE!
- Bring:
- Equipment for all 6 events plus
- Troop and American flags (See instructions)
- Observers – bring your camp chairs
- Prizes: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place ribbons plus Spirit Award
- Registration - Register at the Park at 2:30 pm

Help needed for Webelos Woods May 20-22 @ RLM

We are looking for troops or unit volunteers to help organize the Webelos Woods outing on May 20-22 at Rancho Los Mochos. We do not have a planning committee yet, so if a troop or two is looking for a great recruiting opportunity, please reach out and we can coordinate logistics. The new merit badge encourages Scouts to explore important topics around diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethical leadership and learn why these qualities are important in society and in Scouting.
