Cost of LiveScan

  • We have negotiated a favorable rate of $35 for the scan + the certificate
  • You must pay with cash or check made payable to Livescan Identity (no Credit Cards or PayPal or Venmo)

  • Before you attend a LiveScan event hosted by Mission Peak or visit a vendor on your own, please download, fill in, and print out the form provided here.

We still need more locations to host LiveScan events.

Complimentary Admission to BSA Scouts and Leaders in Uniform

Visit the Hiller Aviation Museum at no charge on Sunday, November 20. Admission fees are waived for all Scouts and Scout leaders in uniform throughout the day. Visit the museum’s collection of over fifty different historic aircraft, visit a hands-on lab to experience flight simulation, robotics, or drone operations, and find out more about special one-day Merit Badge programs held at the museum throughout the year.

No reservations necessary – complimentary admission is available from 10 AM to 5 PM on November 20. More information is available by clicking here.

Our neighboring Marin Council is teaching both Cub Leader & Scout BSA Leader Position Specific Training.

Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training

Welcome new Cub Scout parents and leaders to a fun and valuable morning training session to help you get your Pack experience off on the right foot! This course is intended to provide the following positions with the information and tools they need to conduct a successful program for our youngest youth:
  • Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Den Leaders & Asst. Den Leaders
  • Cubmasters & Assistant Cubmasters
  • Pack Committee Chairs & Committee Members
Date & Time: Saturday, November 19, 2022. Check-in at 8:45am; training starts promptly at 9:00am; estimated completion by 12:00pm.

Location: Marin Community Foundation, 5 Hamilton Landing, Suite 200, Novato, CA 94949

Cost: $10 per person includes simple breakfast refreshments

Leaders who complete this session, plus the BSA Youth Protection and Hazardous Weather training are considered "TRAINED" for their position!

Welcome new Scouts BSA parents and leaders to a fun and valuable morning training session to help you get your Troop experience off on the right foot! The course will provide these positions with the basic information and tools they need to lead successful Scout troops:
  • Scoutmasters & Assistant Scoutmasters
Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters who complete this course, Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills, BSA Youth Protection and Hazardous Weather Training are considered “TRAINED” for those positions.

Weekly Cub Roundtable Drop-In by Zoom

Cub Scout Roundtable, now meeting every Monday evening as a drop-in program via Zoom, Mondays 5:00 - 7:00 pm.

Come by and chat Scouting, and ask your questions. This program is open to all Cub Scout leaders, in all districts or councils. Spread the word to your fellow volunteer Scouters.

Can’t make it to your district’s roundtable? GGAC is now offering a virtual Cub Scout Roundtable on Monday nights. This pilot program will provide drop-in RT Commissioner services to all Cub Scout leaders of the council. Join our veteran Cub Scouter, Michael Wrenn, Assistant Council Commissioner, if you are looking for program support, have questions, or need new ideas.
