Discussion Topics

1. Recharter - lots of good discussions.
   1. Recharters are due no later than Tues 11/30
   2. The person who processes the recharter must either be a Key3 member or a Key3 delegate. I showed how a Key3 member can assign Key3 Delegate in my.scouting.org, Roster, Position Manager, Functional Roles
   3. I demonstrated but failed to show how a COR Delegate can change someone's assigned position. From within my.scouting.org, Roster, Position Manager; Registered Positions. I was able to click the "+" in front of a Scoutmaster's name and drag him to another position, next we expected but did NOT see a drop-down menu to choose his replacement. Instead, what I should have done was click the"+" in front of the person from one of the other positions and drag this person to replace the Scoutmaster.
   4. The alternative way a recharter person can change an adult's assigned position during the recharter process is to click on the "pencil icon" after their name in the roster. Then in the menu choose what their new position should be.
   5. I confirmed that the COR receives an email when the recharter has been sent for their approval in the tool: https://advancement.scouting.org/

2. YPT
   1. Need your help in checking recharters before they are submitted. Need you to have the recharter person run a YPT Report for their unit and make sure everyone meets the stricter GGAC rules. They will NOT get "red flags" in the too if the person passes the national rule but fails the GGAC rule. All his is described on the website: https://missionpeakscouts.com/ypt/
