  • With Regrets: Henry
  • Absent without regrets: many others

  3. Join your units as a Multiple member and ask for Key3 Delegate so you can help with Internet Recharter.
  4. Encourage Units to use online applications for both Youth and as of now Adults too via Invitation Manager and Application Manager
  5. For Units with a Membership Chair, assign this person the functional role of Key3 Delegate so they can manage online Youth Applications.
  6. Send suggestions for RT topics to Eve m.ruhlman@gmail.com, especially for November.
Minutes
Membership
  • As of October 1st, BSA National started collecting not only prorated 2021 dues but also 100% of 2022 dues with all online submitted/processed applications. This is one month earlier than normal. This does not apply to applications that are processed manually with paper transmitted to Mike and the office. This pre-collection of the 2022 fees be visible to the Units when they begin their online 2022 recharter process, i.e., these previously collected fees will be subtracted from the total to be submitted by the Unit. However, Units need to make sure they in turn collect a smaller amount from these new members when they collect the 2022 dues. Assuming Units charge their own custom program fee, this is all they need to collect from these individuals.
  • In late September, GGAC activated the ability to accept online Adult Applications. When someone submits an electronic Adult Application is must be electronically approved by either the COR or the COR Delegate.
Recharter
YPT
  • One change that affects all registered Adult Leaders is the stricter rule that the GGAC Board of Directors adopted this past April regarding YPT.
    • At recharter time, all Adults wishing to be included must have a YPT certificate that is valid for the entire period of the new charter.
  • For the 2022 recharter, this translates to adults needing to have NO expiration dates in 2022 and having expiration dates on or beyond 1/1/23
  • Under the old rules, we would have 68 people needing to retake YPT before recharter. With the new rules, we have 632. Next year the remaining 352 + all of the 632 from this year will need to retake, i.e., starting in 2023 100% will need to retake every year.
Roundtable
  • Nov – Urgently need help finding topic/speaker
  • Dec – social event at Swiss Park
  • Jan – likely to be a Scout is Reverent
  • Need your feedback on desired topics for future Roundtable meetings.
Closing
  • Worked with 3 commissioners who were not receiving emails. All were fixed by looing in Spam folders
