Recently someone noticed that Parkmont Elementary was getting littered by people using the grass playfield area and not taking their trash away. With no janitorial service, the trash bins were overflowing. Troop 120 stepped in and organize a clean-up and had the scouts collect and dispose of the litter. They had a sign-up program for Scouts and their families to volunteer to clean up different areas at the school. Obviously, this counts for service hours. Other Units can choose a school near them or where they meet and make a difference. Just remember to obey all social distancing criteria.
