Looking for scout volunteers for the Fall Camporee
Please mark your calendars—Fall Camporee 2026 will be held September 25–27, 2026, at Rancho Los Mochos.

As in past years, the 2026 Fall Camporee will be organized and led by Mission Peak Scouts. We are currently seeking Scouts interested in serving on Camporee staff. Please share this opportunity with your Troops so Scouts can gain valuable leadership experience and skills they can bring back to their units.

Scouts may submit their interest to serve on the Fall Camporee Youth Staff by completing the following form: https://forms.gle/JvonsTCqpEoUmYz28  This is a wonderful opportunity for the scouts to learn and lead while having fun! The interviews are starting soon, so hurry up!!

The application will remain open until 15th February, with interviews for senior youth leadership roles taking place in late February.

We are offering Troop Committee Challenge (required training for committee members and committee chairs) and Merit Badge Counselor training AT Merit Badge extravaganza.
Registration for both courses is open now, and the courses are filling, so don't delay:

Troop Committee Challenge  https://scoutingevent.com/023-106210   The Troop Committee Challenge training is highly recommended for all parents with youth in the Scouts-BSA program.  You will gain a better understanding of program be better prepared to help your troop thrive and your scouts succeed in their scouting journey.

Merit Badge Counselor https://scoutingevent.com/023-106211   Merit badge counselors are a crucial part of the Scouts BSA program, supporting multiple methods of scouting including: adult association, advancement, and personal growth.

The morning session will take place at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Niles. Saturday afternoon we will move to Garin Park, where we will camp overnight, have breakfast, and depart by noon.

The course will be taught by experienced Cub Scout leaders and is strongly recommended for every parent with an active cub scout.

Scouts, unit leaders, and families are invited to the San Jose Sharks Grand Prix Scout Night on March 7, 2026, at SAP Center vs. the Islanders. All tickets purchased through the event link include access to a pregame Pinewood Derby starting at 3:00 p.m., plus an exclusive Sharks Grand Prix participant patch for each Scout racer.
