Halloween is around the corner, and it's time to "Trick or Tree"! Come plant trees at Gomes Elementary School on Halloween. Keep in mind that tree planting is considered Conservation Hours for scouts so definitely sign up for this great opportunity. More information below.

Scouting for Food Door Hangers are here - Multiple ways to pick them up!

The Scouting for Food doorhangers have arrived. They will be distributed at the following places and make sure to look for a burgundy Sienna minivan:
|
- Boy Scout Roundtable: Thursday 10/08 beginning at 6:15 pm at Washington High School, (38442 Fremont Blvd, Fremont) in the small parking lot closest to the corner of Eggers and Fremont Blvd.
- Troop Showcase: Saturday 10/10 beginning at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe School, (40374 Fremont Blvd, Fremont) at the entrance to the ball field.
- Cub Scout Roundtable: Monday 10/12 beginning at 6:15 pm in the parking lot of Mr. Mikey’s Country Store and Deli, (37161 Niles Blvd, Fremont) on the corner of F Street and Niles Blvd.

2/6 - Save the Date for the Merit Badge Extravaganza 2027!
|
|
Merit Badge Extravaganza 2027 (MBeX 2027) will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2027 at Centerville Middle School from 8:30am - 3:30pm (tentative and subject to change).
|
Registration will open by mid December 2026; we will make every effort to announce a specific date by December 1, 2026. Information will be communicated via the District website and Slack.
|
Scouts can take up to 2 merit badge classes. Scouts will likely have a “partial” at the end of MBeX 2027 - only some requirements will be completed and signed off. Please do not expect to complete and earn the merit badge(s).
|
Cost to attend is $25 regardless of whether a Scout attends 1 or 2 merit badge classes. Registration is by individual Scout.
