1/9 - Roundtable Meeting tonight about Increasing Parent Involvement!
This essential Roundtable will take place tonight, Thursday, January 9th at 7pm at Washington HS Cafeteria! Come join us tonight for our monthly Roundtable Meeting with the following subject:

Roundtable Topic: Increasing Parental Involvement

Every unit relies on parents to step up to critical roles to provide an effective program.
Why are parents reluctant to volunteer?
How can we overcome their reluctance and turn them into volunteers actively supporting the unit?
This class will feature several roles to demonstrate some of the successful techniques in bringing new parents into critical roles.

We will also be discussing the upcoming events such as the Reverence Walk, San Jose Barracuda Hockey game and the Indoor Rally! Be There!

Leatherwork Days have been cancelled due to lack of volunteers

Leatherwork Days have been cancelled due to lack of volunteers
Sadly, we are going to have to cal our Leatherwork Merit Badge Day and Cub Scout Leatherwork Days due to the lack of volunteers. Just a reminder, this organization is run pretty much 100% on volunteers and if we do not have enough volunteers, more activities like these will get cancelled. Please set-up and help volunteer in our organization so we can have more successful events.
Remember, it takes a village to raise a scout, not the same villages each and every time.
