5/9 – Gain Conservation hours at Don Edwards this weekend!

Did you miss the Coastal Clean-up on 4/25 and sad about it?
Are you looking to gain some last-minute conservation volunteer hours?
Did you go two weeks ago and had a blast and want to go again?
Stewardship Weekends are back, and we would love to have you join us! Thank you for the time, energy, and care you continue to give the Refuge. Your work truly makes a difference. May is Wetlands Month, and the marsh is showing off its full seasonal beauty. Marsh vegetation is glowing, native sages are filling the air with a sweet fragrance, and bees are busy on fully blooming buckwheat. At the same time, mustard and thistle are taking advantage of the warm days, and we need your help to keep them under control.
If you are ready to get outside, move your body, and celebrate Wetlands Month in a meaningful way, join us this Saturday, May 9th at 9:00 AM. Sign‑in begins at 8:45 AM. If you cannot attend, spreading the word is incredibly helpful. You are our best messengers, and your outreach supports the Refuge more than you might realize.
