This month’s round table will talk through a systematic process that you can use in your scout unit, personal decisions or at work to make better decisions. Does your unit face decisions such as where to go to summer camp, should we have a high adventure experience, how should we prepare for camporee, or does a Cub Scout unit want to have more outdoor camping experiences? These questions need a methodology to make good decisions based on the attitudes of the scouts, with input from the parents. The process leads to alignment of the scouts to participate.
While there will be some presentation material, we will have a facilitated discussion about a decision. That could be a decision from one person at Roundtable on February 12. We will explore the decision in a structured way to understand how it might be framed.
All adults are invited to attend to learn how to make better decisions and to align the parties, whether in or outside of scouting.
We think that this will be an exciting roundtable and look forward to seeing you all there. Please feel free to contact Lee Amon at if you have questions.
