8/10 - Cub Scout Roundtable & 8/13 - BSA Roundtable coming up!!

Roundtable 2026-27 A New Beginning

Starting in August 2026, Mission Peak District will be holding separate Roundtables for Cub Scout and Scouts BSA Leaders.

Cub Scout Roundtable will be the second Monday of the month starting on August 10th. More information will be sent out soon.

Scouts BSA Roundtable will continue to be held on the second Thursday of the month starting August 13th. The August meeting will be held over Zoom. For September through May meetings, they will be at Washington High School. More information will be coming soon. The topic will be about:

“The only thing better than Cub Scouts . . . IS MORE CUB SCOUTS!

The beginning of the school year is an opportunity to recruit new youth and adults into your pack. We also want to ensure you have a thriving Lion den and to eliminate any gap years. Jonathan Leder, the new Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner will be guiding you through the recruiting process step by step. We’ll also start the conversation on how to get adult engagement so you are not the one doing all the work.”

What is Roundtable and why are we making this change?
If you have never been to a Roundtable, it is a monthly opportunity for Scouting leaders to gather and share their experiences, ideas, and resources with each other. It is also an opportunity for leaders to learn about resources and guidance that can provide a better scouting experience for both the youth and the leaders.

We know that you are busy, and that attending another meeting each month has a cost to it. It is our goal to make the value that you gain from these meetings worth the cost of your time. We feel that the best way to provide this value is to have separate meetings each of which will be highly focused on that program.
