
Join us for a rewarding day of environmental stewardship at Don Edwards National Wildlife Refuge! Scouts, families, and friends will work together to help restore this vital habitat by removing invasive plant species and cleaning up litter. This event is a great opportunity to give back to nature while earning conservation service hours.

What to Expect & What to Bring
All tools will be provided, but please bring your own gloves.
Light snacks will be provided—bring a water bottle!
Dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
Bring sunscreen, a hat, and any personal supplies you may need.
The refuge requires a signed volunteer waiver for all participants.
Registration required! Please sign up via Eventbrite Link, and make sure to include all participants – scouts and family members – in your registration.
Special Recognition & Family-Friendly Fun
Troops will receive certificates for the most trash collected and the most invasive species removed!
Younger siblings are welcome, but small children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Carpooling is encouraged as parking may be limited.
Pictures will be taken at this event, and they may be used for promotional purposes
