Join us for Scout Night as your Oakland Roots take on El Paso Locomotive FC at Cal State East Bay in Hayward.
Kick-off is at 7 pm and all Scouts in attendance will be able to earn a Scout Patch by participating in a pre-game soccer training session!
If you haven’t already heard, the game has been moved from Laney College to Cal State East Bay in Hayward.

You purchased your ticket through our Fevo Link. If you haven’t already, please make sure you SIGN UP for an Oakland Roots account, either at this link: https://bit.ly/382cIuL or the Oakland Roots app. That is where your tickets and more importantly, the barcodes for your tickets are. Please reach out if you have any questions.
All of our seating is GA (first come, first serve). Your tickets will allow you to sit in any of our GA sections.
As a part of our Scout Night festivities, all scouts in attendance are invited to participate in our Pre-Game Soccer Skills Clinic. Our coaches and players will take the scouts through a series of soccer drills. They should wear comfortable clothing. Upon completion of the clinic, they will be awarded an exclusive Oakland Roots Scout Night patch.
Please arrive at our main entrance by 5pm and make your way to the “Drop Off Here” point on the attached Stadium Map. We will begin the clinic at 5:30pm and should conclude by 6pm. Water will be provided and we have food trucks on our concourse where you can get food and visit the Scout STEM table in between the clinic and Parade of Champions.
Prior to kickoff, the scouts are invited to participate in the PARADE OF CHAMPIONS, where we showcase local youth in a pre-game parade in the stadium. They can feel free to wear any clothing representing their pack or troop.
We will meet for the parade in the northeast corner of the stadium (“Drop Off Here” on the attached map). The route to that point is marked with red arrows.
The parade will START at 6:49pm, so if you do not attend the meet & greet, make sure to be at the “Drop Off Here” location (on the map attached below) by 6:35pm. Parents/Guardians should drop off there and pick up at the “Parents Waiting Area” on the map.
After the match, meet back at the “Drop Off Here” location for our post-game photo. Once the field clears, we will head on to the pitch for the photo. It usually takes 10-15 minutes to clear the pitch.
