The Mission Peak Troop Showcase is on a Saturday morning, October 11 from 10 AM until Noon. It is where Troops present themselves to the Arrow of Light Scouts from all over Mission Peak. This year, the Showcase will be completely outside, as it has been the last three years.
The location is Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, (41933 Blacow Rd, Fremont, CA 94538) and is a new location. This is at the CHURCH, not the school. It is off of Blacow Road slightly south of Irvington High School. Enter off of Blacow Road or Greenpark Dr. Please see the map of the location and the two entrances to parking marked by Red Arrows. The Troop Showcase has always been one of the very best places for Arrow of Lights to start their quest for their ideal Troop. We typically have over 70% of the Troops represented at the Troop Showcase with a similar percentage of the Arrow of Light Dens participating in the event. Arrow of Light Scouts, their Parents and Den Leaders are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Sixteen different troops are already signed up to attend.
Arrow of Light Scouts: With so many troops to look at, this is an excellent place to start picking which troops you want to find more about and visit.
Scout Leaders: We are asking each troop to indicate if they are intending to participate. Please fill out this short Google Form – Troop Showcase Interest. You may still sign up until October 9, but it helps us to know how many troops to expect to have you sign up sooner than later.
