The Prayer Hike gave us a unique opportunity to explore the many genres of religions in Fremont. We visited eight houses of worship and gained a greater knowledge of other religions and what makes each one unique in our community.
A total of 238 scouts and scouters participated in the event. At each house, a faith leader discussed the basic beliefs and practices of their religious traditions. At the Sikh Temple, a traditional meal was served to everyone. This is a great opportunity to complement your unit’s commitment to “To serve God” & “Duty to God”.
